Data

Data explorers offer easy exploration and analysis of detailed data on global trade in natural resources and products enabling circular economic models. They also give an overview of national policies, strategies, roadmaps and legislation on the shift from linear to circular economic models, and of policies advancing deliberative approaches towards the bioeconomy.

Methodology

Bilateral trade data are critical to understanding global resource flows, but they are often difficult to access and query. Using official country-level data provided by the UN, we reconcile trade reports from importers and exporters to fill data gaps and correct errors, and we reorganize commodities and products into categories that make sense for understanding natural resources and circular economy trade.
